Jimmy Lindsey is an Emmy nominated American Cinematographer from Austin, Texas.

At a very early age, he fell in love with cameras and the art of visual storytelling,

ultimately sparking his desire to become a filmmaker. After earning his Bachelors Degree in Film Production and History at the University of Texas, he began to work on set in the camera department where he developed his craft over many years alongside some of the world’s most respected Directors and Cinematographers.

 

As Director of Photography, Jimmy has lensed a wide range of projects in film and television for every major studio and streamer. Known for his distinct visuals and inventive storytelling, his credits include: Timeless, Revolution, From Dusk Till Dawn, Limitless, Machete, Veep, Star Trek: Picard, Welcome To Chippendales, Physical, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and most recently Arnold Schwarzenegger’s FUBAR.

 

Jimmy is a member of The American Society of Cinematographers, The International Cinematographers Guild, and The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
